The second letter of the Hebrew alphabet is ‘Bet’. It depicts a house, a home, it is the pole that keeps the tent upright. In Biblical terms, this relates to Yeshua (Jesus), as He is literally our home, we are to live inside Him, and He, inside us.
Jesus Christ, called Yeshua in Hebrew, is to be our dwelling place and comfort every single day. To go home, is to close the outside and look within.
‘’The door to happiness opens inward, no need to knock.’’
The bible says that the Kingdom of God is inside each and every one of us. In order to go home, all we need is a change in focus. Press ‘stop’ on the external noise, distractions, fleeting thoughts, concerns, victories, worries, and just look to Yeshua, the life-giving water.
Relationship and communion are for today, it’s a mistake to think that you will be with Yeshua when you get to Heaven. You’re not even getting through the door if He doesn’t know your face.
Remember the passage in the Bible where he tells the people that cast out demons and perform many wonders in His name ‘’ Depart from me, I never knew you...’’?
I mean these guys were hardcore, but ministry took over and their false sense of fulfilment came from doing instead of being, works over rest, Martha over Mary, self over submission.
‘’The greatest ambition is surrender…’’
If you don’t want to be in that situation, make sure He knows you, don’t wish it, make it happen today. You didn’t wish your breakfast today, you made it happen out of necessity. Make sure God’s time is handled the same way.
‘’Discipline is the gateway to freedom.’’
Make Yeshua your home (Bet) and spend time with Him every single day, as it’s the singular most important thing you can do with your time. If you had one hour left to live, how would you spend it?
You’d probably start praying and try to fit all the days you missed into that one hour with sincere apologies. Time is but an illusion, consistency is key.
Visit your ‘home’ (Home=Bet=Yeshua) every day, and whatever you do, wherever life takes you, do not miss out on time alone with YHVH (God’s name), as it is the utmost necessity of your existence.
Don’t let yourself down.
